Sowing. Building. Moving.
Updated: January 2020
We are very excited to give you an update about our plans for moving and relocation in 2020!
Much of the past year has been spent in the planning and preparation process as we’ve sowed, prayed and prepared for a significant season of change. Beginning in early 2020, we will be embarking upon the second ‘Building’ phase of this journey. We are hoping to have all renovations completed by mid-2020.
We need your help! Extra funds are required to help us make this dream a reality. Would you consider partnering with us and sowing financially into this vision?
Not just a new building but a vision of a place where God’s presence dwells, where the name of Jesus is exalted, where the good news of the Gospel is proclaimed, where the lost come home and where broken lives are healed and transformed.

Financial update to 11 Feb 2020
A little over 20 years ago, God called us to take a step of faith as a church and relocate to Fyshwick. Since that time, we’ve been able to fulfil that call from the same rented premises. God is now calling us to step out once again and, for the first time in our 30-year history as a church, establish a permanent home.
One of the key reasons God called us to this area was to be a lighthouse. So it seems no coincidence that the building God is leading us to, has been a warehouse bringing light to the Canberra region for a generation. It’s our prayer that this building would continue to bring light, the true light of the Gospel of Christ, to this suburb, this region and even beyond.
This facility will provide a new auditorium to seat 400-500, dedicated breakout rooms, youth and children’s facilities, disabled access, and all we need to service our growing church family. In addition, this facility will enable us to reach beyond ourselves into the community in ways that previously haven’t been possible.
We want to invite you to join us in this new chapter in our church. This is not just a new building, but a vision of a place where God’s presence dwells, where the name of Jesus is exalted, where the Good News of the Gospel is proclaimed, where the lost come home and where broken lives are healed and transformed.
