Change in Sunday service times

From sunday 20 May we're moving to one service at 10am (join us at 9.30 am for tea & coffee)

Read the letter from the Board and Pastors:

We wanted to let you know about a change to our current services. For some time we have felt the Lord leading us to make a change to Sunday services but only recently has there been clarity about exactly what we should do. Two scriptures that have guided us, and that we have been praying into together, are:

2 Chronicles 5:13 ‘The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.”

Acts 2:1 ‘When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place.’

Both these scriptures have led us to believe that God is calling us to spend a season joining together in one service. As such, we are combining our two current services into one service beginning Sunday 20 May (Pentecost Sunday). Whilst there will always be reasons for and against changing services times this decision has not been based on practicalities but the prompting of the Lord. We don’t see this as a step forward or a step back, simply, it is a step of obedience. We want to intentionally posture ourselves in accordance with what the Lord is saying that we might allow Him accomplish all that He desires at this time. How long this season of ‘togetherness’ will last we are not certain but we do look forward expectantly to all that the Lord has for us.

To summarise, from Sunday 20 May we will be holding one service only at 10 am. Our current coffee break will continue prior to the service, beginning at 9.30 am.
